Aligning and Distributing Objects

You can use the editor toolbar and the context menu of an object or object group to align or distribute selected objects relative to each other or to the page content. The buttons/commands for aligning/distributing are active in the toolbar/context menu if one or more objects are selected (in the context menu the respective commands are available in the 'Position' submenu).

Align commands

ButtonDescription
Aligns the selected objects with the left edge of the last selected object.
Aligns the selected objects vertically centered in relation to the last selected object.
Aligns the selected objects with the right edge of the last selected object.
Aligns the selected objects with the top edge of the last selected object.
Aligns the selected objects horizontally centered in relation to the last selected object.
Aligns the selected objects with the bottom edge of the last selected object.
Aligns the selected objects to the transform center of the last selected object.
Centers the selected objects horizontally to the center of the page.
Centers the selected objects vertically to the center of the page.

Distribute commands

Note
There must be at least 3 objects selected to apply the distribute commands.

ButtonDescription
Moves the selected objects horizontally so that the objects are evenly spaced. The distribution of the objects is done between the leftmost and rightmost object.
Moves the selected objects vertically so that the objects are evenly spaced. The distribution of the objects is done between the uppermost and lowermost object.
