Configuration Error (PLCN0013): The program instance belongs to the non-existing component instance '...' of type '...'.

In your project, a non-IEC 61131-3 program from a library is instantiated in the 'Task and Events' editor. This program instance belongs to a component instance which is not contained in the 'PLCnext Components' editor of the PLANT. Component instances are added automatically when instantiating a contained program type or can be created manually in the 'PLCnext Components' editor.

Possibly, the component instance has been renamed in the 'PLCnext Components' editor and does no longer match the referenced 'Component name' in the 'Tasks and Events' editor.

Remedy

  1. Double-click the error message to jump to the affected editor. The affected table row is marked.
  2. Make sure that the component instance name specified in the 'PLCnext Components' editor matches the component name selected for the program instance in the 'Tasks and Events' editor (see example above). The 'Component name' field in the 'Tasks and Events' editor provides a drop-down list for selecting one of the instantiated component types.
