Ethernet Error (TCPP0016): The default gateway '...' lies below the subnet's visible IP range.

The default gateway set for the network in the properties of the 'Project' node is outside of the defined IP range.

Remedy

To fix this error, you can either correct the default gateway or decrease the IP start address.

  1. Double-click the 'Project' node in the PLANT and open the 'Settings' editor.

    Alternative: For many errors which refer to the project IP range, double-clicking the error message directly opens the 'Settings' editor.

  2. Specify/correct the suspected 'IP range' setting(s) and confirm each entry with <Enter>.
