Keyboard Operation
The graphic editor provides the following shortcuts to select, move, etc. objects.

Depending on the graphic worksheet type you are editing (FBD/LD, NOLD, SNOLD or SFC), some shortcuts may be inactive because the corresponding object type or command is not available. |
Shortcut | Operation |
---|---|
<Arrow> keys | Moves to the next cell/object (left, right, top, bottom) within the code worksheet grid. |
<Shift>+<Arrow> keys | Selects the adjacent object/connection line. Selected objects are highlighted green. |
<Space> | Selects the currently market object/connection line. |
<Esc> | Deselects all selected objects or closes the context menu if open (see next line). |
<Menu> | Opens the context menu of the object selected in the code. |
Besides these shortcuts, the most important editing commands can be called via shortcut. If a shortcut is available, it is mentioned in the button tooltip and after the menu item.

The in-place toolbar can also be operated via the keyboard:
Shortcut | Operation |
---|---|
<Tab> key | Sets the focus to the first command on the in-place toolbar.Pressing the <Tab> key repeatedly steps through the commands. |
<Shift>+<Tab> | Selects the previous in-place button. |
<Enter> | Executes the selected in-place command. |
<Esc> | Exits the in-place toolbar and sets the focus back to the code object. |
