Security for HMI

PLCnext Technology controllers provide server-side (controller-side) security for HMI. Server-side security for HMI means, the controller prevents unauthenticated users from accessing the HMI application (reading and writing HMI data is enforced by the controller).
The access restrictions to the HMI application are based on HMI user roles that define which permissions the user have, i.e., which HMI page or HMI object a user can access.
