Error Catalog
The error catalog lists all error messages and warnings which can be displayed in the Error List of PLCnext Engineer.
Open the MESSAGES window in the Cross Function Area at the lower screen border and click the 'Error List' category in the window toolbar.
The errors and warnings are divided into several main categories as follows:
- Controller Configuration errors
- FDCML Parser errors
- AXIOLINE errors
- Controller runtime errors
- Profinet errors
- Ethernet errors
- INTERBUS errors
- REPLACE error messages
- Lexical errors
- Syntactical errors (various parsers)

To directly access an editor or worksheet in which the error was detected, double-click on the corresponding error in the Error List.
The corresponding editor or worksheet appears with the suspected entry/code position marked.
