Profinet

The following function blocks for Profinet operations are available. The function blocks have to be used for PLCnext Technology controllers.

Function block Description

ADDRESS_TO_ID Converts the Profinet address structure ADDR to a unique ID.

AR_MGT Starts and stops Application Relations (AR).

AR_STATISTIC_ITERATE Provides the AR statistics for all Profinet devices.

AR_STATISTIC_SINGLE Provides the AR statistic for a specific Profinet device.

GET_MODULE_DIFF_BLOCK Reads module difference blocks.

ID_TO_ADDRESS Converts the unique ID to the Profinet address structure ADDR.

RDREC Reads data records from a Profinet IO device.

RECV_ALARM Reception of alarms from Profinet IO devices.

WRREC Writes data records to a Profinet IO device.
