ONLINE STATE Window
The ONLINE STATE window provides an additional fast capability to access/control the controller and, if available, the Safety PLC (besides the Cockpit and context menu in the PLANT).

In the ONLINE STATE window, the controllers are listed identically as in the PLANT: While connected, their operational state is displayed as overlay icon and control commands are available in the context menu. The behavior when executing a command from the ONLINE STATE window is identically as when you work in the PLANT.
For the standard controller, commands are provided for- connecting/disconnecting PLCnext Engineer to/from the controller
- switching between debug and programming mode
- writing and starting the project (changes), with and without sources
- controlling the operation, i.e., stopping and starting the controller (hot/warm/cold).
