Profinet Error (PNIO0026): The Profisafe submodule '...' needs a controller with a safety-related PLC.

In the 'Module List' of a Profinet bus coupler, a safety-related module has been detected although your project does not contain a Safety PLC. Safety-related devices and I/O modules are only supported, if a Safety PLC is available in the PLANT.

Remedy

If a functional safety application is required in your project, replace the current controller in the PLANT by a controller type which comes with a Safety PLC.

Otherwise remove the safety-related module from the PLANT (i.e., from the 'Module List' of the Profinet bus coupler).

Note
When removing a Profisafe module from the PLANT, the assignments of its process data items (I/O signals) will be removed, too. As safety-related devices are not moved to the recycle bin, neither the device nor its assignments can be restored after the deletion.
