Semantic Error (various between SEM1170 and SEM1179): State-machine relating errors
This help topic relates to the error messages SEM1170, SEM1171, SEM1172, SEM1174, SEM1175, SEM1176, SEM1177, SEM1178 and SEM1179.
The error was reported for an invalid SFC state machine. The state machine code was imported via a file in PLCopen XML format.
The reason for the message could be that the SFC implementation in the export tool of the PLCopen XML file is/was different than in PLCnext Engineer and the imported code is not supported. It is also possible that the PLCopen XML file is corrupted or has been manually modified after export.
Contact the provider of the PLCopen import file.
You can try to modify the PLCopen XML file according to the error message. If the tool is available from which the XML file has been exported, open the SFC code there, modify it and export the XML file again.
