Deleting SFC Objects
When deleting SFC objects in a network, the free graphic editor ensures that the network is valid after deletion. If the selected objects do not form a logical assembly, the editor automatically extends your selection. The extension is shown by a colored frame for a short time, before the selected objects are deleted.
- Steps and transitions can only be deleted as a consecutive pair.
- When deleting a step, the assigned action(s) are also deleted.
- When deleting an initial step, the succeeding step becomes the initial step.
- If the object of a branch leg is selected then the complete branch is deleted.
To delete the selected object(s), either right-click the selected object and execute the 'Delete' command from the context menu or press <Del>. The deletion can be stopped by pressing the <Esc> key while the extension is shown. Alternatively, use the 'Undo' command after the deletion.
