Adding and Organizing HMI Pages

Adding a new HMI page to the current project can be done in several ways:

Right-click the 'Application' subnode under the 'HMI Webserver' node in the PLANT and select 'Add HMI Page'.

If the project does not yet contain any HMI pages and security for HMI is enabled, the 'Login' page is automatically added. The login page is the page that will be automatically displayed for the user to input the user name and password if the HMI application is locked for unauthorized users.

Copy an existing HMI page and insert the copied page via keyboard or context menu.
Create a new HMI page based from a page template.

Once you have added an HMI page, set the page properties as described here.

To rename an HMI page, right-click the node in the PLANT, select 'Rename' from the context menu or press <F2> for a selected node and enter the desired name.

You can organize the HMI pages in the 'Application' subnode into folders. Via the 'Add Folder' context menu command, you can add subfolders (including up to 32 nested folders). Moving HMI pages between folders can be done by using drag & drop.
