HMI Pages
An HMI application comprises of one or more HMI pages. Objects have to be inserted in the HMI page and arranged according to your requirements. Once added to the HMI page, you can modify the appearance and behavior of objects by adding dynamics to the object properties.
The HMI pages are organized in the PLANT under the 'Application' node (child node of the 'HMI Webserver' node). Each HMI page is represented by its own subnode. Double-clicking an HMI page in the PLANT opens the HMI editor group in the editors area. The HMI editor group contains the following editors:
- 'Parameters' editor - used to create and edit HMI page parameters (see the topic "Defining HMI Page Parameters" for details).
- 'Tags' editor - used to create and edit the page local HMI tags (see the topic "Local HMI Tags" for details).
- Graphic HMI editor - used to design HMI pages and to configure user-defined HMI symbols (see the topic "HMI Editor" for details).
Objects (standard objects, symbol instances and images) can be inserted into an HMI page by drag and drop or pick and place from the 'HMI' category in the COMPONENTS area (see the topic "Inserting Objects" for details).
An HMI page is automatically stored when closing the page in the editors area.
