Error (Safety Library Parser): Invalid safety seal for the safety library '...'.

During project compilation, the data integrity of included libraries with safety-related data is verified. The library parser checks the data integrity by verifying the seals of the libraries.

This error is reported because the library parser detected an invalid seal for the entire library mentioned in the error message. This may indicate a wrong library version, or a data corruption (possibly due to a technical error), a systematic error, or a conscious (criminal) manipulation.

Remedy

  1. Delete the included library: left-click the library icon in the 'Libraries' tree (COMPONENTS area, 'Libraries' category) and press <Del>.
  2. Add the library again. If available, observe version information to make sure that the correct library version is going to be included.
    1. In the COMPONENTS area, right-click the 'Libraries' folder in the 'Libraries' category.
    2. Select 'Add Library'.
    3. In the appearing browse dialog, browse for the library (*.pcwlx file) to be added to the project and click 'Open'.
  3. If the error is still reported, reinstall PLCnext Engineer.

If the error is still reported, contact the technical support of Phoenix Contact.
