Specifying the Startup Page

If there is more than one HMI page in your project, a startup page has to be specified. The startup page will be loaded first when the visualization is started. If there is only one HMI page in the project, this page is automatically used as the startup page.

The page that is currently designated as startup page is shown in the PLANT with the icon preceding the page name (the icon is also shown in the tab label when the page is opened in the editors area).

Specifying the startup page can be done in several ways:

Right-click the node in the PLANT and select 'Set HMI Page as Startup' from the context menu. This is only possible, if no page is added to the 'Navigation' editor or the top left page in the 'Navigation' editor has no connections.
Or
Drag the HMI page from the PLANT and drop it at the leftmost position in the 'Navigation' editor. The top left page in the 'Navigation' editor is always the startup page of the HMI application (designated with the icon in the PLANT) if the page has no connections.
