Inserting Images

Images can be added to the network topology view. You can use images, for example, as a background for the topology view. An image can be added at any place in the topology view.

Add image at free position
  1. Right-click in the topology view and select 'Insert Element > Image' from the context menu. The image placeholder is shown.
  2. Right-click the image placeholder and select 'Edit image' from the context menu. The 'Edit image' dialog will appear. Enter the file location of the image or use the browse button to select a file (png file format is supported), and then confirm with 'Ok'.
Move and resize an imageClick and drag the image to move it to the desired position. To resize the image, click and drag any of the corners or edges.
Change position of an imageBy default, an image is positioned on the top stack level in the view (as other objects, comments, etc.). To move an image down in the stack, select 'Position > LevelNo' from the context menu of the image.
Add image to a groupRight-click the image and select 'Add object(s) to group > GroupName'.

Note
The submenu of the 'Add object(s) to group' menu provides the existing object groups.

Delete an imageClick the image and press <Del>.
