Main Menu/Toolbar and Shortcuts
The menu bar provides a set of project-relating commands which do not explicitly relate to a particular engineering task (such as PLANT structuring, IEC 61131-3 programming, HMI editing etc.).
The toolbar located directly below the menu bar provides access to the frequently used menu bar commands. Each toolbar button provides a tooltip that shows a short description of the command and, if available, the predefined keyboard shortcut. To show the tooltip, position the mouse cursor over the button.
Keyboard shortcuts provide direct access to the most commonly used commands.
If there is a keyboard shortcut defined for a particular menu command, this appears to the right of the menu command (as shown below). If a toolbar button has a keyboard shortcut assigned, it is shown in the tooltip that appears when hovering with the mouse over the toolbar button.
