Step 3: Start/Stop the Recording Session

Starting the recording session

Start the recording session by clicking one of the following icons:

Once you have started the recording session, you can:

Stopping the recording session

To terminate a running recording session, click the toolbar icon:

Note A triggered session is automatically terminated if the defined number of "post-trigger cycles" specified in the recording settings has been reached (see step 2 for details).

Note The recording session is automatically stopped, if the controller is disconnected (by menu item) or if the connection between PLCnext Engineer and the controller is lost, or if the project or the PLCnext Engineer is closed.
